It is a beautiful day today and it puts me in the mood for all of those wonderful outside photo opportunities. I remember how much fun we had taking this photo last year and I am looking forward to all of the outside fun this fall. Check out our fall photo specials for this fall and join the fun.

A big thanks to Leah Young, beautiful mom of this adorable child. I have not embraced this wonderful blog the way I need to and she reminded me how fun it can be for me and my clients. The gentle nudge was a wake up call to put it higher on the list of things to do and have enjoy it!

Today I am bringing a personal note to the blog. For those of you that know me it will come as no surprise that I am involved with my kids. In all honesty, I do love what I do, but I work to support my family just like the rest of you and rejoice in their accomplishments. My oldest daughter (who really is her own adult person now) just left for China on a study abroad summer school and we are so excited for her!

Welcome to our new blog that celebrates our new name and new look! I often have wished that there was a way to keep in touch with my clients and get their feedback, celebrate our milestones together, and communicate about all of the cool stuff we are dreaming up for you. I invite you to give me feedback and let me know what you think!

The new name of our photography business reflects our goal. Artografi is a combination of art and photography - it is where photography becomes art. I want to show you how your photos can become the piece of art in your home that you are most proud of. As Angel Lips Photography, I saw lots of our customers purchase photographs and then not know what to do with them or how to enjoy them on a daily basis. We have redesigned the business to offer you all the services you need to reach the final goal - custom photo art.

As one person providing all of the photography and production work, I found I simply didn't have time to offer the complete package that I wanted to. I also found that spending time on the design end drawing from my days as an art director is where my passion lies. I am in the process of contracting with several local talented photographers to also take photos for us. I will work with them to make sure they will have similar styles and, of course, provide you with the same level of professionalism. I will do all of the photo enhancements and design work to create your final piece.

I am very excited to be moving into this new and exciting phase of our business and look forward to hearing from you.
